Hands-on Software Engineer (m/f/d) – AI-driven Predictive Diagnostics

About the role

Join a small, highly autonomous team building an AI-driven product for predictive diagnostics of drive systems. Based in Barcelona with a globally distributed team, you will work hands-on on software that runs in the cloud, containers and on embedded hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a set of Azure services independently.
• Develop clean, containerised applications using Docker and OpenShift.
• Own the end-to-end development process, from code to deployment.
• Support data scientists in deploying machine-learning models across cloud, containers and embedded variants.
• Work directly with test rigs and hardware to validate solutions.
• Collaborate with a worldwide team of engineers, sales and application specialists.

Required profile

• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services.
• Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, OpenShift).
• Solid software-engineering fundamentals applied deliberately.
• Comfortable working at the hardware/test-rig level.
• Curious, driven ownership mindset.
• Based in Spain and able to work hybrid (3 days in Barcelona office, 2 days remote).
