Haulage Assistant – Valencia or Barcelona

About the role

The Haulage Assistant will support the supply chain department by ensuring transport operations run smoothly across our Barcelona and Valencia locations. This role focuses on coordinating haulers, managing job orders, and promoting sustainable container reuse.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee transport operations to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries.
• Coordinate daily activities with haulers and transport providers.
• Track, investigate, and resolve transport‑related incidents and operational issues.
• Create and manage job orders for transportation and feeder services.
• Maintain effective communication with Import and Export departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Promote and support container re‑use initiatives in line with sustainability and cost‑efficiency objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the transport, logistics, or shipping sector.
• Familiarity with Port Community Systems (PCS).
• Knowledge of IRIS4 operations and functionalities.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
