Head Chef (Kitchen Manager) – Hotel Restaurant

About the role

The Hotel Barceló Hamilton Menorca is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen operations. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality buffet and à‑la‑carte dishes while ensuring smooth daily workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, direct and coordinate the work of kitchen staff.
• Supervise cleanliness, maintenance of utensils and proper use of equipment.
• Assist in training and instruction of team members.
• Control costs, stock levels, orders and purchases.
• Develop all‑inclusive and à‑la‑carte menus.
• Oversee all operational kitchen processes.
• Guarantee the quality and presentation of the buffet according to company standards.
• Maintain hygiene and food‑handling regulations.
• Adapt to new kitchen technologies.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Kitchen Management.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Head Chef.
• High level of English.
• Knowledge of Office applications (user level) and Spanish & international cuisine is valued.
