Head of Enterprise Engineering Excellence

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to define and drive engineering excellence across Nespresso’s global digital ecosystem. Reporting to the Global Head of IT, you will guide a large, high‑performing organization that spans infrastructure, platform engineering, and engineering enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise‑wide engineering excellence strategy aligned with business and IT priorities.
• Lead a global team of 200+ engineers, building high‑performing squads and leadership capability.
• Accelerate modernization through DevSecOps, cloud, automation, SRE, platform engineering and AI.
• Own and evolve engineering platforms such as cloud foundations, CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Ensure secure, reliable, high‑performance infrastructure with strong governance, compliance and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate strategy into tangible business outcomes and manage budgets, vendors and cost optimization.

Required profile

• 15+ years in senior engineering or technology leadership roles within complex enterprises.
• Proven experience leading globally distributed engineering organizations of 200+ staff.
• Strategic mindset with ability to connect technology decisions to business impact.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
