Head of Project Management

About the role

As Head of Project Management within Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) Medical, you will lead a global team of project managers and establish a centre of excellence that drives consistent, high‑quality delivery of Medical Affairs and Market Access initiatives worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of 60‑70 project managers across Bogota, Hyderabad, Budapest and other SBO locations.
• Establish and maintain a Project Management Centre of Excellence, standardising methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Implement Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project management approaches across all portfolios.
• Ensure consistent delivery quality for budget management, congress activities, medical affairs deliverables and market access projects.
• Drive operational excellence, cost optimisation and continuous improvement through shared‑services models.
• Develop scalable project‑management frameworks adaptable to multiple therapeutic areas and geographies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed project‑management teams.
• Strong track record of building and governing centres of excellence.
• Ability to standardise processes and achieve economies of scale.
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Market Access or related pharmaceutical functions is preferred.
