Head of Quality Management

About the role

The Head of Quality Management will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) for an automotive organization. Reporting to senior leadership, this role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, drives quality policy, and reduces product defects across new and mass‑produced vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, analyse and improve the QMS, monitoring compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Formulate and implement the quality policy, set quality goals and promote activities that support continuous improvement.
• Monitor regulatory requirements for new and mass‑produced vehicles and ensure adherence.
• Collect market data on defective vehicles, identify root causes, allocate responsibility and oversee corrective actions to reduce complaints.
• Analyse faults in imported models, manage recall campaigns, risk assessments and BC‑S problem resolution.
• Coordinate quality planning with the headquarters in Spain and collaborate with cross‑functional departments.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, including at least 3 years in QMS promotion.
• Specialist background in the automotive or mechanical industry.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, federal safety and recall regulations.
• Fluent in English or Chinese.

• FMEA and SPC methodologies.
• Quality‑management tools and VDA standards.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
