Helpdesk Support Specialist – Barcelona

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Helpdesk Support Specialist to join our Barcelona office. This associate‑mid level position offers exposure to an enterprise‑computing environment and requires strong technical troubleshooting combined with excellent communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and support PC and Apple hardware and software, including printers and USB devices.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and emails regarding workstation and peripheral issues.
• Perform on‑site analysis, diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software problems for a variety of end users.
• Recommend and implement corrective solutions, both locally and via remote repair tools.
• Log, report and monitor helpdesk requests according to established procedures.
• Maintain high user satisfaction through timely follow‑up and clear communication.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people.
• Highly self‑motivated with good reasoning abilities.
• Team‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
• At least 2 years of relevant IT support experience.

• Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
• macOS (desirable)
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Basic networking concepts – DHCP, DNS, cabling
• Antivirus and spyware removal techniques
• Hardware troubleshooting and component replacement
• Microsoft Active Directory (a plus)
• PC and Apple hardware/software installation and peripheral support
