High-Altitude Pseudo Satellites Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a technical and multidisciplinary Project Manager to lead High‑Altitude Pseudo‑Satellites (HAPS) payload projects, acting as the central hub between clients, engineers and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from kickoff through integration, testing and flight preparation.
• Contribute technical expertise and hands‑on engineering work as needed.
• Serve as primary contact for external clients, ensuring clear communication and requirement alignment.
• Matrix‑manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and external partners without direct line authority.
• Monitor schedule, budget, scope and resources; identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee procurement, hardware integration, quality assurance and mission preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Telecommunications or Physics.
• 3–7+ years of technical project management experience in aerospace, defense, space systems or advanced telecommunications.
• Proven experience managing hardware/software payload development, integration, V&V testing and flight readiness.
• Experience handling contracts, stakeholder interfaces and compliance within strict contractual frameworks.
• PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
• Fluent English (C1); additional languages a plus.
