Host/Hostess – Food & Beverage

About the role

Join Hyatt Regency Trinidad as a Host/Hostess in our Food & Beverage team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and guiding them through their dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
• Provide detailed information on menu items, daily specials, and make recommendations.
• Upsell additional products when appropriate.
• Assist across all Food & Beverage outlets (Waterfront, Lobby, IRD, Cinnamon, Pool Bar) as operational needs arise.
• Complete various additional tasks and assignments as required.

Required profile

• Five CXC passes, including Mathematics and English.
• Minimum one year experience in a restaurant or hotel Food & Beverage environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service orientation and multi‑tasking ability.
• Good computer skills and fluency in a second language are assets.
• Knowledge of wines is a plus.
• Must be COVID‑19 vaccinated.
