Hotel Operations Manager – Barcelona

About the role

As the Operations Manager for Numa in Barcelona, you will be at the core of delivering an exceptional guest experience across our hotels, studios and apartments. You will lead a growing team, coordinate with landlords and vendors, and ensure that daily operations run smoothly while upholding the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, ensuring alignment with Numa’s standards.
• Oversee third‑party service providers, negotiate contracts and monitor service quality.
• Implement a proactive property‑maintenance programme to keep assets in top condition.
• Contribute to the Numa brand experience, guaranteeing consistent guest satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, optimise costs and track key performance indicators.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing operations team.
• Supervise day‑to‑day activities such as check‑ins, check‑outs and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Proven leadership ability with experience motivating teams.
• Strong financial acumen – budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Background in hospitality, preferably in a fast‑paced, startup environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with landlords, vendors and staff.
• Adaptable and comfortable thriving in a dynamic setting.
