Hotel Receptionist – Bilbao

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the team at its Bilbao Nervión property. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all front‑desk activities, including check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide personalized in‑person and telephone assistance throughout the guest stay.
• Perform concierge services and handle luggage storage.
• Review and verify reservations and conduct nightly audits.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the Reception Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Tourism, a Master’s in Marketing or a related field, with specific training in tourism quality.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer‑service experience in the hotel sector.
• High proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Knowledge of office software, hospitality operations, CRM systems and ISO standards is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards.
