HR Expert - People Operations

About the role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Expert in People Operations to join our Valencia office. You will be part of a fast‑paced, international environment and will own the operational backbone of HR across eight offices, covering contracts, onboarding, payroll coordination and HR data management.

Key responsibilities

• Run the employee lifecycle end‑to‑end, from recruitment and offer management through onboarding, contractual changes, compensation, performance cycles, payroll coordination and off‑boarding.
• Administer Personio as the firm’s HR system of record, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete, up‑to‑date and audit‑ready across all entities.
• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, supporting employees and managers with day‑to‑day people matters and coordinating with external providers when required.
• Prepare people reporting and workforce metrics, including headcount, recruitment, absence and other relevant data.
• Support day‑to‑day HR compliance, covering employment law, regulatory requirements, GDPR and internal policies, and flag changes to the Manager People Operations, General Counsel and external advisers.
• Maintain and improve People Operations processes, documenting them clearly and identifying opportunities to streamline and automate workflows through HR technology and AI tools.
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.

• Strong understanding of HR compliance, employment law and GDPR.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle across multiple offices.
• Excellent communication skills to support employees, managers and external partners.
