HR Generalist – Hotel

About the role

Barcelo Hotel Group is looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support the Barceló Fuerteventura Mar hotel. You will act as the main link between the regional HR department and the hotel, ensuring smooth daily HR operations and compliance with local legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all HR activities, including personnel administration, labor relations, recruitment, employee development, and occupational risk prevention.
• Handle administrative processes such as contracts, payroll, social security contributions, and tax filings.
• Execute tasks assigned by the Zone Management and HR Management to achieve set objectives.
• Facilitate communication between regional HR and the hotel to optimise daily HR management.

Required profile

• Degree in Labor Relations, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a generalist HR professional or 3 years in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong organisational abilities and problem‑solving skills.
• Initiative, proactivity and the capacity to resolve incidents efficiently.
