HR Plant Manager

About the role

Clarios is looking for an HR Plant Manager (m/f/d) to lead the HR function for two manufacturing sites in Spain: the Guardamar del Segura battery plant and the Ibi poly plant. The role serves as a strategic advisor to local leadership teams and a champion of employee engagement and organizational effectiveness, guiding around 550 employees. The position is based at the Clarios battery plant in Guardamar del Segura.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the EMEA HR function at plant level and act as the primary HR business partner to the Plant Manager
• Own all HR processes at the site, including temporary labor, recruiting, talent development, employee relations, labor law compliance, payroll and HR administration
• Lead and develop the local HR teams and implement regional HR strategies and standards locally
• Design and run a forward-looking HR agenda covering growth, organizational development and leadership culture
• Collaborate confidently with the Works Council and govern the payroll agenda
• Support employee engagement, company culture and internal communication
• Take part in international HR projects such as HR digitalization, process efficiency and leadership development

Required profile

• University degree in HR, Law, Economics, Business Administration or a related field
• Solid years of experience as HR Manager or HR Lead in an industrial production environment, ideally automotive
• Proven track record in transformation or change processes, ideally cultural and/or structural
• Experience working with Works Councils and confidence in labor law matters
• Ideally experience building or scaling HR structures in growing organizations
• Fluency in Spanish and English

• Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and assertiveness, credible on the shopfloor and with management
• Strategic thinking combined with reliable management of operational HR processes
