HTA Analyst for German Market (AMNOG) - Home-based or Hybrid

About the role

iQVIA is looking for a highly motivated HTA Analyst / Consultant to support health technology assessment (AMNOG) and market access activities in Germany, with no travel required. The role is based in Spain, Portugal or Greece and suits scientists or biostatisticians who want to apply clinical evidence to reimbursement decisions. It is home-based or hybrid, and a substantial part of the work involves medical writing. Fluency in German is an absolute requirement.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to German AMNOG dossiers, focusing on Modules 2-4
• Assess clinical trial data scientifically, including efficacy, safety, patient-relevant endpoints and subgroup analyses
• Carry out systematic literature reviews and structured evidence syntheses
• Write AMNOG dossier texts and updates, written statements and responses for G-BA procedures and hearings, and scientific reports, slide decks and selected publications
• Support indirect treatment comparisons and interpret statistical outputs
• Work closely with Market Access, HEOR, Medical Affairs and the EU-HTA team
• Ensure scientific quality, clarity and consistency of HTA documents, and monitor methodological developments from IQWiG, G-BA and other HTA bodies

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in life sciences, biostatistics, epidemiology, pharmacy or a related field
• Initial experience in HTA, AMNOG, HEOR or market access (industry, consultancy or research institute preferred)
• Solid understanding of clinical study designs, endpoints and statistical principles
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken (absolute must)
• Structured, reliable, quality-driven, well-organized and highly independent

Required skills

• Experience in scientific and medical writing
• Familiarity with the German AMNOG process, IQWiG methodology or G-BA procedures is an advantage
• Plus: advanced SAS and R programming (more than 2 years), CDISC SDTM/ADaM data analysis, Python or another programming language, MS Office, reference management tools, and a solid statistical background
