Industrial Manager C295 India (Expatriation)

About the role

Airbus is recruiting an Industrial Manager for the C295 India programme (Make in India), based in Seville. The postholder supports Airbus at the supplier premises in India and is accountable for coordinating Airbus's activities there, identifying deviations from the initial plan and putting corrective actions in place. The role reports to the Chief Industrial Manager of Make in India and involves expatriation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Airbus activities at the Indian supplier site, manage risks and propose KPIs to follow up progress
• Lead value creation projects together with functions and Indian suppliers
• Manage the onsite support MFT and act as the single focal point for production discussions with TASL
• Follow up contract obligations (CDRL and milestones) and support company offset obligations
• Take part in escalation forums, prioritise manufacturing activities and follow up production KPIs with TASL
• Support claims management, customer acceptance and delivery, and coordinate subcontractors and support departments
• Drive operational excellence, FOD prevention, quality and health and safety standards on the shop floor
• Control production, manage orders and needs on SAP, and supervise tooling and rejected material
• Identify production risks and support mitigation plans
