Industrial Project Management Engineer (VIE) – Spain

About the role

Join Probisa Vias y Obras as a V.I.E. Industrial Project Management Engineer and take part in the construction of an asphalt production plant in Durango, Basque Country. You will work on‑site, supporting the project manager and ensuring the plant is assembled safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor plant assembly progress during the construction phase.
• Coordinate subcontractors, manage planning, interfaces and progress.
• Ensure compliance with the assembly schedule and raise alerts for any deviations.
• Supervise the application of safety regulations according to the prevention plan.
• Assist in project budget monitoring and cost control.
• Prepare regular reports on deadlines, costs, quality and safety.
• Participate in site meetings and act as an operational liaison between stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• Initial field experience in industrial project management and construction site monitoring.
• Strong focus on health and safety.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and comfortable with basic contractual procedures.
• Well‑organized, able to manage deadlines and maintain clear documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced construction environment.
• Fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written.
