Information Security Analyst

About the role

Contemporary Star Energy is launching a new Gigafactory in Figueruelas, Zaragoza, and needs a Cybersecurity Specialist to protect its IT environment. The role will be part of the IT department and will design, implement and monitor security measures for servers, networks, applications and computer systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and deploying cybersecurity controls across networking, servers, applications and endpoints.
• Monitor network activity, detect inadequate actions and respond to security events.
• Participate in incident response, investigation and remediation of cybersecurity incidents.
• Review SIEM logs and reports, provide findings and recommendations to the corporate cybersecurity leader.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Help create and maintain information security policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Evaluate designs of major applications and upgrades for security compliance and perform routine security audits.
• Coordinate with external consultants for independent security audits when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Automation, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum B2 level English; Spanish and Chinese are a plus.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in information security within a mid‑to‑large enterprise.
• Experience in security operations, incident response and compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as CISP, CISSP or CISA and experience with ISO 27001 or TISAX audits are preferred.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Figueruelas facility.
