Information Security Compliance Officer

About the role

KPMG Islands Group is looking for an Information Security Compliance Officer to protect people, data, systems and the firm’s reputation. The role supports critical information protection controls and works closely with internal teams to identify and remediate security threats while ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain documentation, conduct periodic reviews and impact assessments to support compliance with KPMG’s Information Security Policies.
• Assist audit programs, track remediation of findings and report/escalate issues.
• Monitor inventories, prepare metrics, and maintain document libraries in collaboration with IT Services.
• Deliver information‑security training and support a comprehensive awareness program.
• Assess information‑security risks, document findings and contribute to risk‑management activities.
• Follow incident‑response processes, monitor incidents and escalate to the CISO as needed.
• Perform supplier and product assessments for third‑party providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related discipline.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of experience in Information Technology and/or Information Security.
