Infrastructure System Administrator (L2)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure System Administrator (L2) to join our team in Madrid. You will be responsible for maintaining both Linux and Windows server environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across our infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve Linux (Oracle Linux 8/9, Ubuntu 22/24) and Windows Server 2022 issues, including logs, processes, networking, and storage.
• Manage virtual environments using VMware vSphere/ESXi, including VM lifecycle, snapshots, vMotion, and virtual networking.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and Windows services, and perform patching via WSUS.
• Implement backup and recovery solutions with Veeam Backup & Replication and Pure Storage FlashBlade.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and basic Python.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident triage, and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to isolate root causes and propose preventive measures.
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish; French is a plus.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift schedule and handle on‑call duties.

• Terraform (HCL), Pulp repository management.
