Ingeniero Eléctrico MOD (H/M) – Vigo

About the role

The Electrical Engineer will design, validate, standardise and support electrical systems used in elevator modernisation projects across the EMEA region. Based in Vigo, the role works closely with system engineers, mechanical engineers, factories, quality teams and field organisations to deliver safe, competitive and reliable products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical architectures, wiring diagrams, schematics and bills of materials for MOD products.
• Define electrical requirements for new modernisation packages and product enhancements.
• Review and validate electrical documentation before product release.
• Perform technical audits of documentation and manufactured units, identify discrepancies and lead root‑cause analysis.
• Provide electrical engineering support to factories, contract engineering teams, sales engineering and field operations.
• Evaluate customer‑specific requirements and propose compliant technical solutions.
• Drive standardisation, simplify designs, improve documentation quality and benchmark competitor solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in electrical design for elevator modernisation projects.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (system, mechanical, quality, field).
• Based in or willing to work onsite in Vigo, Spain.
