Inside Account Executive – French‑Speaking Africa

About the role

Nutanix is looking for a quota‑carrying Inside Account Executive to prospect and sell cloud‑based solutions to new and existing customers across French‑speaking West and Central Africa. The role is hybrid, combining remote work with occasional in‑person collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve at least 100% of quota by selling to commercial and public‑sector accounts.
• Maintain a pipeline 4‑5 times the assigned quota and provide accurate weekly forecasts.
• Qualify opportunities, present Nutanix solutions, handle objections, negotiate and close deals via phone and video.
• Collaborate with channel partners, field sales, and marketing to develop new‑logo accounts.
• Develop and execute account plans for both new logos and existing customers.

Required profile

• Proven quota‑carrying sales experience in high‑tech, preferably within Sub‑Saharan African markets.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong cultural competency and understanding of business practices in the region.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of datacenter technologies: virtualization, storage, servers, cloud and networking.
• Experience working with channel partners to bring solutions to market.
