Insurance Product Engineer

About the role

Join Zurich Technology Delivery Center in Barcelona as an Insurance Product Engineer. You will create and enhance insurance product propositions for a multi‑year transformation program across European Commercial Insurance markets, collaborating with underwriting, pricing, IT and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain new insurance products using Xmind and the Guidewire suite.
• Gather feedback from underwriting, sales and claims to refine product requirements and drive simplification.
• Lead change‑management activities for product roll‑out and ensure readiness for business implementation.
• Analyse competitor products and pricing to support market positioning for the Lower Middle Market segment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent high‑school diploma) with at least 2 years of product development experience.
• Knowledge of property, casualty and specialty insurance underwriting and related guidelines.

Required skills

• Xmind for product modeling.
• Guidewire platform, including Advanced Product Designer (APD).
