International Financial Controller

About the role

Miista, an independent footwear and lifestyle brand with a global presence, is seeking an International Financial Controller to join its finance team. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial information across multiple markets and legal entities while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance of all international entities, ensuring alignment across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate and execute monthly and annual close processes, delivering timely and accurate financial statements.
• Prepare detailed management accounts and financial analyses for senior leadership.
• Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities to inform business strategy.
• Manage tax filings and statutory compliance in each operating country.
• Maintain internal controls, perform reconciliations, and support external and internal audits.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitoring variances against plan.
