International Financial Controller

About the role

Miista is seeking an International Financial Controller to join its finance team. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable financial information across multiple markets and legal entities while supporting strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the financial performance of the Group’s international entities and operations.
• Ensure financial consistency and alignment across multiple jurisdictions and business units.
• Monitor key financial indicators and provide actionable business insights.
• Coordinate and execute monthly and annual financial close processes, guaranteeing timely and accurate financial statements.
• Review and oversee accounting activities across the Group’s subsidiaries.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and management accounts for senior leadership.
• Deliver financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision‑making, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate tax filings and statutory obligations across jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local accounting, tax and regulatory requirements.
• Perform reconciliations across payment platforms, bank accounts and key balance‑sheet accounts.
• Support external and internal audit processes and maintain strong internal controls.
• Lead the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.

Required profile

• Strong technical expertise in finance and accounting.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Experience operating in fast‑growing international environments.
• Ability to ensure compliance with diverse regulatory and tax requirements.
