Internship – Real Estate Consultant Technical Due Diligence (TDD)

About the role

Drees & Sommer is looking for an intern to join its international and dynamic team in Madrid, supporting technical due diligence (TDD) projects for real estate. The internship is open to students who can sign a practical training agreement (Convenio de Prácticas) with their university.

Key responsibilities

• Support the team in conducting technical assessments of commercial properties and help prepare due diligence reports for corporate clients and investors
• Help prepare feasibility studies for property development or refurbishment projects and monitor their execution
• Review and analyse technical documentation, drawings and reports
• Monitor costs, timelines and quality across planning, design, permitting, construction and project delivery
• Assist in verifying compliance with Spanish and EU regulations and standards, and in assessing or certifying the sustainability or ESG status of buildings
• Collaborate with internal international teams to deliver projects on time

Required profile

• Active student status and ability to sign a practical training agreement with the educational institution
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Facility Management or a related field
• Interest in the real estate sector
• High level of English and Spanish (C1)
