Inventory Planner – EU Middle Mile Forecasting & Planning

About the role

The Inventory Planner will join the STEP Linehaul Middle Mile team within Amazon's EU Trans S&OP organization. You will be responsible for driving forecasting and planning improvements across the Middle Mile network, ensuring optimal customer speed, delivery accuracy, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute weekly and high‑volume Middle Mile forecast publications, optimizing for speed, cost and delivery excellence metrics.
• Partner with planning and technology teams to maintain a strong forecast signal and translate technical insights into operational improvements.
• Analyze forecast accuracy trends, identify root causes of misses, and lead the rollout of corrective plans.
• Own the roadmap for forecast signal enhancements, setting clear accuracy targets and collaborating with tech stakeholders.
• Develop data‑driven solutions to broader operational challenges and coordinate implementation with cross‑functional partners.
• Design and lead improvement programs, reporting progress to leadership and ensuring end‑to‑end alignment of forecasting processes.
