About the role
The IT Audit & Security Analyst joins Nestlé Internal Audit IT Hub in Barcelona, supporting a global audit program that spans roughly four years. The role combines technical security assessments with audit methodology to provide risk assurance and improvement recommendations across the company’s IT landscape.
Key responsibilities
- Scan the network to identify devices, open ports and vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate system security, including switch configurations, firewall rules, OS hardening, databases, cloud platforms and SAP.
- Assess the security of websites, applications and cloud services.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to query Active Directory and analyse data using R, Python or similar tools.
- Communicate findings across the organisation and agree on remediation actions.
- Travel internationally up to 50% of the time, following a fixed calendar.
Required profile
- 2‑4 years of relevant experience in IT security, audit or related fields.
- Hands‑on experience with cyber‑security, pen‑testing, SAP, database management, networking, Windows/UNIX systems and cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
- Strong analytical skills using R, Python and Excel, comfortable handling large data sets.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or equivalent.
- Fluent business English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and within an international team, with a proactive attitude.
