IT, Cyber & Business Continuity Risk Analyst

About the role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is looking for an IT, Cyber & Business Continuity Risk Analyst to join its team in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid. You will provide independent oversight of technology, cyber‑security and business continuity risks across the SCIB platform, supporting the bank’s risk‑aware culture.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the IT, Cyber & BCP risk management program and drive implementation of related initiatives.
• Monitor emerging IT and cyber risks, assess impact, recommend responses and track action plans.
• Participate in risk and controls maturity assessments and analyse framework components.
• Collaborate with Group 2LoD initiatives to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
• Oversee the risk profile across global platforms, branches and subsidiaries.
• Identify transformational projects, monitor their progress and support production rollout.
• Manage internal and external audit activities (SOX), including recommendations and independent testing.
• Automate risk‑management processes and produce consolidated dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related field (post‑graduate degree a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT, cyber‑security or business continuity risk management.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM or cloud certifications are highly valued.
