IT Onsite Support Technician (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a temporary IT Onsite Support Technician to join Schneider Electric’s Digital Hub in Barcelona. The role ensures a smooth user experience by providing hands‑on support for hardware, office equipment and IT assets across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site assistance to employees, diagnosing and resolving incidents on laptops, desktops, mobile devices and office equipment.
• Manage the IT inventory, perform stock checks, control the warehouse and keep asset records up‑to‑date in corporate management tools.
• Coordinate the shipment and receipt of equipment between offices and prepare devices for deployment.
• Configure and set up hardware according to standard procedures, ensuring proper connectivity and security settings.
• Support internal projects as the local technical point of contact and follow established service request processes.
• Provide technical support for meetings and events, including room setup and equipment checks.

Required profile

• Customer‑oriented mindset with a strong service attitude.
• Excellent organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic team environment.
• Previous experience in onsite IT support is valued.
• Fluency in Spanish is mandatory.
