About the role

The Hotel Barceló La Nucía is looking for an experienced Jefe de Cocina to lead its culinary team. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality buffet and à‑la‑carte dishes while ensuring strict hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise, direct and coordinate the work of kitchen staff.
• Supervise cleaning, maintenance of utensils and proper use of equipment.
• Control costs, stock, orders and purchases.
• Develop all‑inclusive and à‑la‑carte menus.
• Guarantee the quality and presentation of the buffet according to company standards.
• Maintain food safety and handling regulations.
• Adapt to new kitchen technologies.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in Kitchen Management (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Dirección de Cocina).
• Minimum 2 years experience as a head chef.
• High level of English.
• Knowledge of Spanish and international cuisine is valued.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (user level).
