About the role

The Technical Services Manager will lead the maintenance department of the Occidental Murcia hotel, ensuring that all installations and auxiliary services operate safely, efficiently and in line with budgetary constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control and monitor all maintenance tasks for hotel facilities and auxiliary services.
• Organise and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to achieve effective and cost‑efficient results.
• Propose and implement measures to improve performance while maintaining safety and staff development.
• Develop and oversee preventive‑maintenance and repair programmes, guaranteeing optimal operation of machinery and installations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date maintenance schedule, ensuring compliance with quality standards and budget limits.
• Forecast spare‑part and equipment needs, managing stock levels according to defined minimum and maximum thresholds.
• Supervise outsourced maintenance work and ensure adherence to health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Prepare budgeting studies for installations, equipment and preventive‑maintenance programmes.
• Plan work shifts, record attendance, and manage staff leaves, hires and terminations.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior) in Maintenance; a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance‑management role.
• English language skills are a plus.
