Jefe/a de Animación en Occidental Torremolinos

About the role

The Animation Manager will lead the entertainment programme at Occidental Torremolinos, creating memorable experiences for guests while coordinating a team of animators and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, direct and execute hotel animation activities using available material, technical and human resources.
• Analyse guest demand and adapt the activity schedule accordingly.
• Determine required resources, including equipment, suppliers and external collaborations.
• Coordinate all support services needed for programmed activities.
• Prepare and monitor the department’s annual budget.
• Develop promotion and advertising plans for the activities.
• Create staff rotas and manage shift schedules.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior) in Tourist Animation.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the tourism sector.
• Proficiency in English and French and/or German.
• Preferred knowledge of technical animation studies, arts or physical education.
• Strong teamwork, communication, initiative, creativity and organisational abilities.
