Jefe/a de partida – B. Carmen (Granada)

About the role

The position is based in the Barceló Hotel Group in Granada and involves leading a kitchen station (partida). You will coordinate the preparation of raw materials, manage the team of assistants and cooks, and ensure high culinary standards while complying with food safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials, utensils and task distribution for efficient station operation.
• Develop and supervise recipes according to menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct, supervise and support assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Oversee cleaning, preservation and replenishment of food items within the station.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and application of hygienic‑sanitary controls.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage and internal replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Formal training in HACCP (APPCC).
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar kitchen‑station role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Good taste and smell memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Planning, organisation, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge and implementation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
