Jefe/a de Partida – Occidental Las Canteras

About the role

The Head of Partida will lead the kitchen station at Occidental Las Canteras, ensuring efficient preparation, high‑quality culinary output and strict compliance with food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials and utensils and allocate tasks for optimal workflow.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and best food‑handling practices, meeting guest expectations.
• Direct and oversee assistants and cooks during dish preparation.
• Manage cleaning, preservation and replenishment of station inventory.
• Ensure accurate record‑keeping and application of hygienic‑sanitary controls.
• Assist with receiving, storage and internal stock replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen‑station leadership role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Knowledge of office software and kitchen equipment is valued.
• Strong sensory memory, creativity and manual dexterity.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to plan, organise, solve problems and make decisions.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
