Jefe/a de Partida – Occidental Pueblo Acantilado

About the role

The Head of Partida will lead the kitchen team at Occidental Pueblo Acantilado, ensuring efficient preparation, high‑quality culinary output, and strict compliance with food‑safety standards. You will coordinate supplies, supervise staff, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise the preparation of raw materials and supplies, and allocate tasks for optimal efficiency.
• Supervise and develop recipes based on menu cycles and food‑handling best practices.
• Direct and oversee assistants and cooks in the preparation of dishes.
• Manage cleaning, preservation, and restocking of food items for the station.
• Ensure hygienic‑sanitary records and controls are completed and applied.
• Assist with basic receiving, storage, and internal replenishment following established procedures.

Required profile

• Higher‑level vocational training in Kitchen Management or Hospitality, or a degree in Tourism.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar kitchen supervisory role.
• High level of English is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation, and problem‑solving ability.

Required skills

• HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
