About the role

The Sector Manager will oversee the food and beverage operations at Barceló La Nucía, ensuring high standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. You will lead a team of waitstaff, coordinate service flow, and support the maître in maintaining quality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
• Plan shifts, manage resources, and control stock levels.
• Organize table assignments for waitstaff.
• Correct staff performance and facilitate problem‑solving.
• Monitor hygiene, staff presentation, and cleanliness of the sector.
• Control mise en place and take orders.
• Report any deficiencies in food quality or presentation to the maître.

Required profile

• Mid‑level vocational training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio o Superior).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter, preferably in a similar supervisory role.
• High level of English; additional language (French or German) desirable.
• Strong organizational and problem‑resolution abilities.
• Capability to manage and motivate a team.
