Jefe/a de Sector – Food & Beverage Supervision

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sector Supervisor to oversee food and beverage operations at our Barceló Playa Blanca resort. You will ensure high standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across restaurants, bars, and related areas.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and intervene in the delivery of food and beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
• Plan staff schedules and manage inventory, including stock control.
• Organize and assign tables to waitstaff under your supervision.
• Correct staff performance, facilitate problem‑solving and ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor hygiene, staff presentation, and cleanliness of the assigned area.
• Control the mise en place and take guest orders.
• Report any quality or presentation issues to the maître d’.

Required profile

• Vocational training (Medium or Higher level).
• Minimum 1 year experience as a waiter or in a similar supervisory role.
• High level of English; additional language (French or German) is a plus.
• Strong organizational abilities and problem‑resolution skills.
• Capability to lead and manage a team.
