About the role

The Technical Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities and auxiliary services at the Occidental Hotel in Ibiza. This role ensures that the hotel's facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with budgetary constraints while supporting the development of the maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control and monitor maintenance tasks for installations and auxiliary services.
• Lead, organize and coordinate the maintenance technicians team to achieve effective and profitable results.
• Propose and implement measures to improve performance, ensuring staff safety, development and training.
• Develop preventive maintenance and repair programmes, monitoring the proper functioning of machinery and installations.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date maintenance schedule, guaranteeing quality standards and budget compliance.
• Forecast spare‑parts and equipment needs, managing stock levels according to defined maximum and minimum thresholds.
• Supervise maintenance work performed by third‑party contractors and actively participate in occupational health and safety plans.
• Prepare budgeting studies for installations, machinery and preventive maintenance.
• Organise work shifts, attendance records, leaves and new hires for the team.

Required profile

• Higher Vocational Training (Ciclo Formativo Grado Superior) in Maintenance; a degree in Industrial Technical Engineering is desirable.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar maintenance management position.
• English language skills are desirable.
