Junior Cost Manager - Construction

About the role

Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division in Spain is looking for a Junior Cost Manager to join its team. The role supports Senior Cost Managers on projects of all sizes and assists the Commission Manager with a wide range of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research, data collection and benchmarking
• Estimate costs and produce cost plans
• Compile and amend the tender list and draft procurement documentation
• Check and analyse tenders and draft the tender report
• Handle variations and change control, negotiating less significant or complex matters
• Carry out cost checks and valuations
• Draft monthly reports and analyse figures for final accounts
• Liaise with clients, contractors and designers, and prepare presentation materials for client pitches
• Enter key information into the company's internal database

Required profile

• University degree in construction-related engineering, architecture or a relevant field
• Previous experience in cost management is preferred
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Clear motivation for the construction industry
• Business-level English and Spanish
