Junior Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT) Engineer to join our engineering team in Sevilla. You will work on aerospace structural analyses, applying industry standards to ensure safety and durability of metallic and composite aircraft components.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fatigue and damage tolerance analyses on aircraft structures.
• Assess crack initiation, crack growth, and overall structural durability.
• Generate fatigue substantiation reports and define inspection thresholds.
• Support structural modifications and repairs from an F&DT perspective.
• Collaborate with OEMs, Tier‑1 suppliers, and internal teams using Airbus methods.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of proven experience in fatigue and damage tolerance analysis within the aerospace sector.
• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English (minimum B1) and Spanish language proficiency.
• Detail‑oriented, collaborative, and able to work in multidisciplinary, international environments.
