Junior Field Engineer – On‑site Projects

About the role

Alphatec Engineering is looking for an early‑career Junior Field Engineer to join its Valencia office. You will work side‑by‑side with senior engineers on heavy‑machinery foundation projects for petrochemical, energy, mining, LNG, cement and manufacturing plants worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior engineers during client enquiries, site inspections and diagnostic visits.
• Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate project logistics, materials and on‑site resources.
• Participate in project execution on domestic and international sites, spending roughly 50% of time travelling.
• Become familiar with Alphatec’s epoxy grout product line and its field application.
• Contribute to final work reports and documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering (recent graduates or final‑year students welcome).
• 0–3 years of relevant experience; training will be provided.
• Fluent in French and Spanish (written and spoken); English is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work on‑site in physically demanding environments.
• Based in Spain and able to work from the Valencia office, Monday‑Friday 08:00‑17:00.
