Junior Legal Advisor – Intellectual Property

About the role

Provide legal support primarily in Intellectual Property, commercial contracting, and digital and technology‑related matters for Sanoma Learning. The role works within the Legal team, supporting Spain and Italy and collaborating on cross‑border projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on IP matters related to editorial, educational and digital content.
• Draft, review and negotiate agreements for acquisition, assignment and licensing of rights.
• Support commercial and technology contracts, including SaaS, development, maintenance and supplier agreements.
• Assist digital and technology projects, especially those involving AI and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to the management of contractual templates, legal criteria and recurring business queries.
• Collaborate with Legal teams across Spain, Italy and the wider Group on cross‑functional initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Law (Spanish Law) with at least 2 years of professional experience in Intellectual Property.
• Experience in contract drafting and review, preferably in publishing, education, media or digital content.
• Native or bilingual Spanish and advanced English.
• Strong interest in business, proactive mindset and ability to work in an international environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Intellectual Property and Industrial Property law.
• Familiarity with digital law, technology contracts and AI‑related legal issues.
• Strong legal analysis, drafting and communication skills.
