Junior Mechanical Engineer – Autonomous Electric Tractor

About the role

Voltrac is developing an autonomous electric tractor to transform European agriculture and defence. As a Junior Mechanical Engineer you will join a fast‑growing team in Valencia and take part in the full product lifecycle, from user needs to prototype, manufacturing and market launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical projects from concept through to production, including hands‑on prototyping and detailed design.
• Create and refine 3D models using CAD tools and perform finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure structural integrity.
• Conduct engineering calculations, component selection and rigorous testing to validate system performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manage procurement of parts for both prototype and series production.
• Collaborate closely with electronics, mechatronics and software teams to integrate mechanical solutions into functional prototypes.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong curiosity and ability to solve complex engineering problems.
• Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary, mission‑driven environment.
