Junior Space Designer – Retail

About the role

MAM Originals is expanding its Retail & Experiential Design department and seeks a Junior Space Designer to translate the brand’s universe into physical retail environments. Based in Barcelona, you will work on‑site to create stores, pop‑ups, and event spaces that reflect the brand’s aesthetic and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design retail spaces—including stores, corners, pop‑ups, and events—aligned with MAM’s brand identity.
• Develop spatial concepts from initial idea through technical execution.
• Create 3D models and visualisations using Blender and Rhinoceros.
• Produce technical drawings and documentation in AutoCAD.
• Define materials, lighting, furniture, and overall user experience.
• Coordinate with suppliers and support production and installation processes.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and branding teams to ensure consistency.

Required profile

• Based in Barcelona (on‑site position).
• Background in Interior Design, Architecture, or Spatial Design.
• Previous experience in retail, exhibition, or commercial projects.
• Strong aesthetic judgment regarding materials, lighting, proportion, and atmosphere.
• Fluent English for an international work environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rhinoceros.
• Experience using Blender for modelling and rendering.
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD for technical development.
