Junior Structural Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Structural Design Engineer to join the Combat and UAV Structural Design team. The role supports the development and maintenance of aircraft wing structures for Eurofighter and contributes to cutting‑edge UAV programmes such as Eurodrone and Sirtap.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate metallic and composite structural components and assemblies, optimizing weight, cost and performance while ensuring safety.
• Perform design modifications, repairs, and resolve non‑conformities for in‑service aircraft.
• Collaborate with stress, systems, aerodynamic and other engineering disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support stakeholders such as purchasing, manufacturing engineering and production with technical expertise.
• Follow‑up with suppliers and participate in advanced military project design methods.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in aerospace, mechanical or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in metallic and composite structural design.
• Ability to interface with stress, aerodynamics, systems and maintainability teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
