About the role

Barceló Group is seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support the Canopy restaurant on the Castellana avenue in Madrid. You will work under the supervision of the head chef, ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and maintains the highest standards of hygiene.

Key responsibilities

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order.
Wash, peel, and cut vegetables.
Mix ingredients for recipes.
Prepare poultry (de-plume) and cut meat.
Scale and clean fish.
Keep utensils and workstations sanitized.
Assist in preserving raw materials and kitchen products.

Required profile

Completed a Medium Level Culinary and Gastronomy training program.
Completed a HACCP (APPCC) course.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar kitchen role.
No language requirement.

Required skills

HACCP (food safety) knowledge.
