About the role
The Learning Assistant supports the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children at our St. George Barcelona campus. This position helps ensure each child’s developmental needs are met while aligning with the preschool curriculum and educational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with classroom management, preparing instructional materials, and setting up learning activities.
- Supervise children during play, meals, and transitions, ensuring their safety and well‑being.
- Promote positive social, emotional, and cognitive development through guided interactions and play.
- Observe and record developmental milestones, reporting any concerns to the lead teacher.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment, managing resources and routine schedules efficiently.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (required).
- Completion of a TKT Training Course.
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting is preferred.
