About the role

The Legal Adviser will lead a designated legal casework program, offering specialist advice on policy interpretation and supporting both internal and external communications. This role combines legal analysis, document preparation, and client relationship management to ensure high‑quality professional services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver a designated legal casework program.
• Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Prepare and organise complex documents using standard office software and compile data for special reports.
• Support internal and external communications systems by offering guidance and advice.
• Advise managers on the application of procedures and precedents.
• Interpret data, identify solutions, and navigate processes, procedures, and precedents.
• Develop and implement policies within established procedures to achieve goals.
• Build effective relationships with internal clients, delivering professional services under senior guidance.
• Continuously develop personal capabilities through training, accreditation, and staying updated on technology, regulation, and best practices.

Required profile

• Ability to manage complexity by analysing large, sometimes contradictory information sets.
• Strong communication skills, delivering clear, concise information to diverse audiences.
