Legal Counsel - Australia/New Zealand Qualified

About the role

Fever, a global tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring a Legal Counsel to support its operations worldwide, with an emphasis on Nordic countries. The role reports directly to the Lead Counsel and involves day-to-day legal support, advising on corporate and operational matters and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements with commercial teams. It is based at Fever's headquarters in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general legal support by adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in the Nordics
• Work with internal and external SMEs to provide corporate, commercial, compliance, litigation and dispute support to the region
• Stay up to date on legislative and jurisprudential developments in the region
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal advisors to prioritise and manage complex legal matters
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts, terms and conditions in multiple jurisdictions
• Contribute to company knowledge and documents, including preparing and revising templates and legal guides
• Prioritise work based on company strategy and objectives, and support the upskilling and growth of other team members

Required profile

• Barred or practising European lawyer with 4+ years of PQE working in one or more Nordic jurisdictions
• Experience in top-tier law firms or in-house at a large-scale multinational
• Fluent English, plus French or German; another language is a strong plus
• Ability to turn complex legal issues into business outcomes, strong technical skills and good communication
